You are invited to participate in a Ruling Elder and Deacon Training Opportunity on January 11, 2025, from 10am-2pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids, MI. Lunch will be provided. We hope that all Ruling Elders, Deacons, and anyone discerning their call to serve will participate. The training will be led by Rev. Dr. Fran Lane-Lawrence, Rev. Annamarie Groenenboom, and Rev. Kristin Stroble.
During the training, we will focus on what it means to be a spiritual leader of a congregation, practical aspects of Ruling Elder and Deacon leadership, and answer any questions that you have about Ruling Elders and Deacons. We will also have time for fellowship.
