The Presbyterian Mission Agency’s Stony Point Center in Stony Point, New York, is hosting a Housing Crisis Symposium on May 15-17, both in-person and online, in support of the Matthew 25 movement’s goal of eradicating systemic poverty. The symposium aims to delve deeply into the root causes of the national housing crisis and explore effective tools for addressing it. Registration is encouraged by May 8.

The event is part of the new Overbrook Conversation Series initiated by Stony Point Center. The series focuses on ongoing dialogues about social justice issues affecting congregations and communities nationwide.

The Symposium on the Housing Crisis is the first of these conversations and will set the stage for future discussions on various social justice challenges. The goal is to create a model of engagement that fosters long-term conversations, equipping participants to take action. Space is limited, so those interested are encouraged to register before May 8 for either the in-person or online options.
