The Executive Presbyter/Stated Clerk for the PLM, the Rev. Fran Lane-Lawrence recently became the Rev. Dr. Fran Lane-Lawrence. She completed her Doctor of Ministry program at Louisville Seminary and her degree was conferred with distinction.
Earning a Doctor of Ministry, Advanced Practice of Ministry – Community Organizing and Engagement, her studies focused on helping congregations engage more deeply with their communities. She is convinced that congregational vitality is intricately connected to their engagement and participation in the communities surrounding them.
