One-time grants are available through the Board of Pensions to help eligible families of post-high school students pay ancillary expenses related to college.

Recipients of a $2,000 Transition-to-College Assistance Grant can use the funds for things like buying a computer or dorm furnishings. An additional $1,000 may be granted to full-time students attending a Presbyterian college or university.

The program distributed $110,000 during 2021.

The one-time grants are available to Board of Pension members – or their dependent child up to age 26 – who are employed by the PC(USA) or an affiliated employer and are enrolled in the Medical Plan or Defined Benefit Pension Plan..
