One of the most prevalent issues facing churches today is effectively communicating with church members while continuing to adjust to COVID-19 and discern how best to share information.

So the Presbyterian Communicators Network (PCN) plans to present quarterly online, one-hour workshops facilitated by Gail Strange about various communication activities. Then, a week after each workshop, PCN will host an “open mic” session where participants can ask questions about the workshop topic or other communication points.

The workshop topics and dates, which all fall on Tuesdays and begin at 2 p.m. Eastern time, include:

  • Social media analytics on March 29. Open mic discussion on April 5.
  • How to post a live service May 17. Open mic discussion on May 24.
  • Helping pastors build communication teams on August 16. Open mic discussion on August 23.
  • Video editing on November 8. Open mic discussion on November 15.
