JOIN: Campus ministries hosting virtual kick-off event on 8/12

Making Campus Connections 2021

College students from across Michigan are invited to “Making Campus Connections 2021.”

The virtual event – slated for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021 – will allow students to meet with others from their college or university in a Zoom room hosted by their campus minister.

Campus ministry leaders from within the Presbytery of Lake Michigan are hosting the event. Those leaders include:

• Nancy Janisch (nancy@truenorthonline.org) and Katie Van Valkenburg (pastorkatevv@gmail.com)  of True North Campus Ministry/ United Campus Christian Fellowship in Grand Rapids.
• Kathleen Robertson King (ucmkrking@yahoo.com) of United Campus Ministry in Kalamazoo.  
• Neil Myer (neil@ukirkmsu.org) of UKirk at Michigan State University in Lansing.

Participants will get a chance to meet some new people, ask last-minute questions about campus life, and learn information about in-person events and opportunities at each campus.
