Participants in the next Mediation Skills Training Institute being offered by the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center can decide whether to attend a virtual or in-person class.

 

The hybrid event is slated from Monday to Friday, August 2-6, 2021, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Those who prefer not to travel may attend via Zoom.

 

The Mediation Skills Training Institute (MSTI) is designed for clergy and other church leaders who want to learn how to deal more effectively with interpersonal, congregational or other forms of group conflict.     Leadership and Anxiety in the Church: A Family Systems Perspective – This one-day session scheduled for August 19, September 29 and November 4, 2021 identifies differentiation of self and anxiety as two key variables impacting human function. The workshop is designed especially for clergy, staff and lay leadership from the same congregation to attend together.
