Learn more about Robert’s Rules of Order and its theological connections during the next webinar being presented as part of the PC(USA) “Year of Leader Formation: Investing in Ruling Elders and Deacons.”

The free program is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021 with Korean and Spanish interpretation available. Register using the link below no later than Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Most Presbyterians have learned about parliamentary procedure through observation during meetings. Webinar participants can expect to learn skills to more confidently and effectively participate in meetings, and will have an opportunity during the registration process to name questions they would like to see addressed.

Leading the webinar will be Associate Stated Clerk Tricia Dykers-Koenig, who served as parliamentarian for the online 224th General Assembly (2020). Tricia is associate director for Mid Council Relations in the Office of the General Assembly, a minister member of the Presbytery of the Western Reserve, and a registered parliamentarian.

A recording of the webinar will be posted in English on the Year of the Leader Formation website in the week after the event. The site also includes a recording of another webinar about “Discovering Our Gifts” that was recorded April 14, 2021.

The webinars are among a variety of resources the PC(USA) is offering during 2021 to support ruling elders and deacons called to serve the church. The resources also include a monthly “Regarding Ruling Elders” article and information about leader formation resources.
