Saturday, October 18, communities across the country will take to the streets as part of the No Kings 2.0 Day of Action—a collective response to the rising tide of authoritarianism and white nationalism in the U.S. Our local rally will be held at the Michigan State Capitol from 3-6 p.m. As people of faith committed to justice, we invite you to join in showing that the power of the people is greater than the people in power.
Please join us on Saturday, October 18 at First Presbyterian Church from 1-3 as we hold a poster-making party and have parking available in the First Pres parking lot at 510 West Ottawa in Lansing.
This is a time to be bold and to be together. Let’s show up—for immigrants, for democracy, and for one another.
