Registration for the 2024 Covenant Gathering is open for both in-person and virtual attendance. The event will be held from July 7-11, 2024, at the Geneva Center in Rochester, IN, and features Rev. Dr. Kathryn Kim SongAe Threadgill as this year’s guest collaborator. Threadgill is the Vice President and Dean of Student Formation and Campus Culture at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA.
Covenant Gathering welcomes adults of all ages, singles, couples, families, children, youth, lay persons, deacons, elders, clergy, and individuals with any level of faith or knowledge, including Presbyterians and “friends.” The event offers a week of renewal, growth, and celebration of God’s creation.
Registration rates are as follows:
- $400 for adults in a shared room
- $500 for adults in a single room
- $100 for children aged 0-2
- $200 for children aged 3-9
- $300 for teens aged 10-17
- $45 for virtual attendance
Covenant Gathering has its origins in the “Synod Schools” once held widely by the PC(USA). After the Synod of the Covenant was no longer able to offer its own Synod School after 2006, a group of participants continued the gathering in some form, networking with congregations and presbyteries.
