The First Presbyterian Church of Grand Haven is offering a generous financial assistance program to help children and youth attend Christian camps this summer. This initiative aims to reduce financial barriers and make it possible for young people to grow in their faith through meaningful camp experiences.
Financial assistance is available for children and youth connected to your church. Key guidelines include:
- The student should regularly participate in your church’s classes or activities.
- The student must be in grades K–12.
- Applications are accepted each year from January 1 through May 31.
- Each student may receive support for one camp experience per year.
- The typical annual award is up to $500. The camper’s family is responsible for the registration fee.
Additional details can be found in the attached letter and registration form.
This program is a meaningful way to support children as they explore their faith and experience the joy of Christian community. If your child is considering a camp experience this summer, we encourage you to apply and make the most of this opportunity.
Hello,
I am reaching out to inquire about opportunities for grant funding for Summer 2027. We are a Christian-based early childhood program, Divine Minds Early Learning Academy, and currently operate a free preschool program for children and families in our community.
We are interested in expanding our services by offering a free summer camp program for children ages 6–12 in Summer 2027. We would love to learn if there are any grant opportunities available through your organization to support this initiative.
If so, is there an application process we should complete, or would you be willing to review information about our program and mission? We would be grateful for any guidance or next steps you can provide.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.
