Help celebrate the official launch of the United Campus Christian Fellowship (UCCF) during an open house scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 21.

The open house – being held at Trinity United Methodist Church at 1100 Lake Drive SE, Grand Rapids – will celebrate that UCCF now has one board, two campus ministers and student involvement on three campuses.

RSVP for the event by clicking here.

The collaborative UCCF ministry formed in late 2021 as True North Campus Ministry merged with programs offered by The United Methodist Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) to serve students at Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids Community College and Kendall College of Art and Design.

Leading the collaborative ministry are Nancy Janisch, who may be reached at nancy@uccfmi.org or (616) 710-1605, and Pastor Kate Van Valkenburg, who may be reached at pastorkatevv@uccfmi.org or (616) 613-6991.

UCCF creates opportunities for students to learn about and follow Jesus Christ in a non-judgmental, inclusive, and open environment. The group helps students learn how their faith connects to the rest of their lives, their career choices and their social justice concerns.
