The next Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Lake Michigan will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022 via Zoom.
As the presbytery continues living into its Matthew 25 commitment, the keynote presentation will explore ideas about when Christ is a stranger in our midst. Learn about refugee needs and programs during a presentation by Elder Judi Harris, a member of Okemos Presbyterian Church and Refugee Services Director with St. Vincent Catholic Charities in Lansing.
The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated, and the offering is designated for the Refugee Development Center in Lansing.
Teaching elders, designated elder commissioners representing congregations, and ruling elders assigned voting rights to balance the rolls need to register by Thursday, March 3, 2022. Click here to access the online registration form.

- The preliminary meeting packet will be available online by Saturday, February 26, 2022 on the Presbytery Meeting page at lakemichiganpresbytery.org. The final meeting packet will be available there by Saturday, March 5, 2022
- Protocol and procedure training for the Stated Meeting will be offered online at 10 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2022. Participants should indicate interest in this training when registering to attend the Stated Meeting. Link details will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
- Orientation for new commissioners will be offered via Zoom at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022. Participants should indicate interest in this training when registering to attend the Stated Meeting.
