Various worship, education and ideas for creative acts of service and compassion resources are available as several PC(USA) groups encourage marking the second annual Mister Rogers Day by working to make it a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
The event is slated for Sunday, March 20, 2022, which would have been the 94th birthday of the late Rev. Fred Rogers, a pioneering creator of several children’s television shows including “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.”
Resources developed for Mister Rogers Day relate his teachings about kindness, peace and reconciliation to biblical principles,

This year, event organizers – including the Office of Christian Formation, the Office of Theology and Worship and the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program – worked together to create more resources for the 2022 celebration and highlight some created by Rogers.
