Information traditionally published within an inch-thick book the Presbyterian Church (USA) now will be published only online to cut costs and improve efficiency.

The annual Book of Statistics, published since the 1860s, traditionally includes statistics, salaries, lists of governing bodies and other information about churches across the denomination.

But the rise in digital platforms and a decline in revenue prompted the Office of the General Assembly to release the directory online this year.
