The next Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Lake Michigan will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021, via Zoom Webinar.
The theme of this meeting is “What Does It Mean to Be Reformed and Presbyterian?” Communion will be celebrated.
Rev. Dr. Christopher Elwood, professor of historical theology at Louisville Seminary, will offer the message — “Communion” based on Psalm 133 and I Corinthians 1:1017 — and the keynote presentation — “Sticking Together or Falling Apart: How Does Reformed and Presbyterian History Help Us Think About the Church—Past, Present, and Future?”
Elder Judi Harris — a member of the Okemos Presbyterian Church and director of refugee services with St. Vincent Catholic Charities in Lansing — will present the Minute for Missions. Our offering for the meeting will encourage support of this designated resettlement agency for adult and family refugees in the Lansing and mid-Michigan area.
