Leaders within the Synod of the Covenant and its member presbyteries are putting together online Lenten worship experiences to give church staff and volunteers time off, to serve as personal devotions, and to give worship leaders new ideas for services.
Entire worship services, or selected portions for congregational or personal adaptation, will be available by Ash Wednesday, February 17, at synodofthecovenant.org for the following:
- A Lenten Sunday between February 21 and March 31, coordinated by the Presbytery of Maumee Valley.
- Maundy Thursday, coordinated by the Presbytery of Lake Michigan.
- Good Friday, coordinated by the Synod of the Covenant.
- Second Sunday of Easter, coordinated by the Presbytery of Eastminster.
