This week Hisperia Presbyterian Church would like prayers for …
1.) our Session, as we have recently completed our Ministry Information Form, and will be establishing a Pastoral Nominating Committee to begin the search for a regular part-time pastor. We have been blessed with several individuals that have served us as pulpit supply over the last few months, and we are grateful for Rev. Chandler Stokes as he moderates our Session.
2.) our small but dedicated group of members and friends of the church as we continue to offer a place to worship God in our community.
Hesperia Presbyterian Church had a fantastic Christmas Eve candlelight service, and Rev. Stokes performed two infant baptisms. One was a fifth-generation member of our church family.
We are excited about beginning a new year and committed to finding someone to lead us on a permanent basis.
