Faith leaders across Michigan are invited to a free webinar, Equipping Trusted Leaders for the 2026 Elections, designed to help congregations and communities vote with confidence as Election Day approaches.

The webinar will be online at 1 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2026, with guests from the Michigan Department of State: Director Mika McAskill and Deputy Secretary Aghogho Edevbie.

Pastors and congregational leaders are often among the most trusted voices in their communities, and people frequently turn to them with questions about how, when, and where to vote, especially as an election draws near. This webinar will help church leaders offer accurate, reliable information so that every member of our communities can take part in the election with confidence.

The webinar is hosted by Michigan faith leaders from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the United Church of Christ, the Episcopal Church, the United Methodist Church, and the Presbyterian Church (USA). This partnership reflects a shared commitment to strong communities and to every voice being heard.
