The PC(USA) invites college students and seminarians to take part in the upcoming Jesus & Justice Advocacy Conference, a powerful weekend of learning, connection, and action. Held September 26–28, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church in Lansing, Michigan, this regional event is designed for emerging leaders passionate about faith-based advocacy and justice work.

What to Know:

  • Cost to attend is $15.
  • Meals will be provided at no extra cost throughout the conference.
  • Lodging is not included; participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own accommodations.
  • Early registration is recommended, and organizers are happy to assist with local lodging suggestions by emailing Jesusandjustice@pcusa.org.

Conference Schedule:

  • Friday, September 26, 2025: Registration & Opening Worship Registration will take place at First Presbyterian Church in Lansing from 4:30–5:15 p.m. Following registration, we will begin our weekend together with a warm welcome, brief orientation, and opening worship.
  • Saturday, September 27, 2025: Plenary Sessions, Panel Discussions, and Workshops The day begins at 9:00 a.m. with worship, followed by a dynamic plenary session and panel discussion. Participants will engage in conversations on global, domestic, and local advocacy. Lunch will be provided, along with opportunities for fellowship and networking. The afternoon will feature two participant-selected workshops.
  • Sunday, September 28, 2025: Workshops, Closing Worship, and Direct Action Sunday begins at 9:00 a.m. with a final round of workshops, followed by closing worship. The conference will conclude with a direct-action experience, designed specifically for young adults to engage meaningfully with the broader community.
