Scholarship and Grant Opportunities through the Synod of the Covenant

The Synod of the Covenant is offering two exciting opportunities for scholarships and grants:

Higher Education Scholarships for Christian Leaders

• Available to students at vocational, associates, bachelors, or first theological masters programs who are either part of a Presbyterian congregation in the Synod of the Covenant or who attend a campus ministry within the Synod of the Covenant
• In the past awards have ranged from $500 to $2000.

Matthew 25 Grants

• Available to PC(USA) Churches and institutions (including presbyteries) within the Synod of the Covenant for ministries which work toward congregational vitality or against structural racism or systemic poverty
• In the past awards have ranged from $2,000 to $5,000.

The application deadline for Higher Education Scholarships is September 1, 2024, and the deadline for Matthew 25 Grants is September 30, 2024. Only complete applications will be considered. For questions, please reach out to Chip Hardwick at chip@synodofthecovenant.org
