Some changes are coming to the Presbytery of Lake Michigan staff as Kristen Schell leaves her role as the technology support manager.
Kristen joined the presbytery staff in March 2019, and has provided key support for the online and in-person Stated Meetings while tackling a variety of behind-the-scenes technology projects. After her last day on July 31, 2023, Kristen will pursue her passion as a birth doula and photographer.
“We express huge appreciation for the work Kristen did to support presbytery operations during and after the pandemic,” says the Executive Presbyter/Stated Clerk, Rev. Fran Lane-Lawrence. “And we offer congratulations as she moves into her next calling.”
We are pleased to announce that beginning August 1, 2023, Emily Franson will begin her work as the Technology/Communication Support Manager.
Emily joined the presbytery staff in May 2020 as the technology and communications support resource. She has worked closely with Kristen and other presbytery staff on various projects during that time.
