FROM THE STATED CLERK: Conversations scheduled about proposed amendments to Book of Order

Friends,

As you may be aware, one of the business items at the Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Lake Michigan on Saturday, March 11, 2023, will be voting on amendments to the PC(USA) Book of Order.

To help in the discernment process, the presbytery will offer two opportunities to gather for discussion and to answer questions about the proposed amendments. These opportunities will be offered via Zoom on:

• Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 3 p.m.
• Monday, February 13, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.

You are invited to attend one or both of the meetings. NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Please share information about these meetings with your Session members and with the ruling elder commissioners that will be attending the March 11 Stated Meeting so that they will be prepared for the voting.
