Registration is now open for the 2022 gathering of Presbyterian Women in the Synod of the Covenant.

The event – slated to open at 4 p.m. Friday, July 29 and conclude at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 30 at First Presbyterian Church in Dearborn – will focus on “Hope Renewed: New Visions Imagined.”

The plenary address on Friday and a Bible study on Saturday will be delivered by the Rev. Carol Bechtel, author of the 2022-23 Horizons Bible Study Celebrating Sabbath:Accepting God’s Gift of Rest and Delight.

The keynote speech on Saturday about Hope Renewed with Grassroots Action will be given by Susan Jackson Dowd, executive director of Presbyterian Women.

Presenters of other workshops include Charon Barconey, CRE and Associate Executive Director of the Presbytery of Detroit, and Rev. Kathy Reeves, national moderator of the Presbyterian Women.

The mission project will be collecting paper products and feminine hygiene items for a local agency that supports women and girls.
