Images of the Word moving into the neighborhood are being collected by the Synod of the Covenant to feature in a virtual Christmas Day worship service.
The service – with lots of music, participants from across the Synod and a reflection by the Synod executive, the Rev. Charles “Chip” Hardwick – will be available for download or streaming no later than Monday, December 12.
Part of the service will feature pictures and images of the Word moving into the neighborhood as the “life-light” described in The Message translation of John 1.
Congregations and groups in presbyteries across the Synod are invited to email pictures and images to heather@synodofthecovenant.org to help illustrate the service theme.
The virtual service worship file will be available at synodofthecovenant.org and its YouTube channel for download or streaming.
