Advance registration for the next Presbytery of Lake Michigan Stated Meeting is due by Tuesday, November 30.
The meeting – slated for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, via Zoom webinar – includes several annual tasks like Celebration of the Saints, installation of the 2022 moderator and vice moderator, and final reading of the 2022 proposed budget.
The sermon will be delivered by Elder Charon Barconey, a Commissioned Ruling Elder and Associate Presbyter for the Presbytery of Detroit.
Also during the meeting, the Rev. Chris H. Roseland, mission engagement advisor with the Presbyterian Mission Agency, and the Rev. Dr. Cal Bremer, transitional co-leader, will lead conversation about the Matthew 25 initiative and what it means to be a Matthew 25 presbytery.
Teaching elders, designated elder commissioners representing congregations, and ruling elders assigned voting rights to balance the rolls need to register by Tuesday, November 30, 2021 by clicking here.

- Orientation for new commissioners will be offered via Zoom at 9 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021. Participants should indicate interest in this training when registering to attend the Stated Meeting.
