This week the First Presbyterian Church of Holland would like prayers …

1. of gratitude that after months of careful planning and prioritizing our renovation/construction project, with a focus on accessibility and safety, is finally underway

2. for our Associate Pastor Nominating Committee, as they continue the search for our next Associate Pastor. We have been blessed with Rev. Cully Culpepper’s leadership here at the church over the past year and are grateful for her presence in the interim.

3. for our Deacons, as they implement a new way to reach out to and care for our congregation. Our Nourishers, Comforters, Handy Workers and Transporter Teams are designed to communicate and coordinate in anticipation of and respond to needs that arise.

We are due for some productive, intentional, and purposeful construction noise. We prepare for this noise as “A Place for All” building project gets underway, in the coming weeks and months. We rejoice together that we are moving forward to enhance the safety, accessibility, and functionality of our facility to support both our members and our community.
