“Gun Violence and Christian Ethics” is a new adult educational video series presented by the PC(USA)’s Office of Public Witness.
This series brings together leading Christian scholars from across the United States to explore how faith can inform our understanding of the uniquely American problem of gun violence. It asks thought-provoking questions such as:
- What does our faith say about gun violence?
- How can Christian teaching counter the cultures of fear, civil distrust, and alienation that make guns appealing?
- How might we engage in ministries of prophetic advocacy and compassionate reconciliation to help end gun violence?
This series is ideal for adult education groups, church discussion forums, or personal study.
