The Synod of the Covenant is excited to offer a pre-recorded post-Christmas virtual worship service again this year, designed for use on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Recognizing the hard work of pastors, musicians, and worship teams during Advent, this service is intended as a gift of Sabbath for congregations and leaders alike.
The service will be available on the Synod’s website (synodofthecovenant.org) by December 18, 2025, along with a downloadable bulletin. Church leaders may choose to view it together with their congregation or offer it to individuals for Sunday worship following Christmas—especially helpful during a time when pulpit supply can be challenging.
This year’s service features the first graduating cohort of the Cultivating the Gift of Preaching Program, CREs serving throughout the Synod, and special guest musicians, highlighting the gifted leaders serving within the Synod.
