
The Great Lakes Association of Presbyterian Church Educators (GLAPCE) will host its fall gathering, offering a time of learning, worship, rest, and renewal focused on navigating change in personal lives, faith communities, and the world.
When: Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 3:30 p.m. – Thursday, Oct. 23 at Noon (ET)
Where: Lindenwood Conference & Retreat Center, near Plymouth, IN
Who: Open to all involved in Christian Education and Faith Formation—pastors, educators, committee members, staff, and volunteers. GLAPCE membership is not required.
Event Highlights:
- Workshops and conversations led by guest speaker Carol McDonald on understanding and guiding others through transitions.
- Meaningful worship, including Thursday communion.
- Wednesday afternoon Sabbath rest with options for campus tours, labyrinth walks, nature paths, creative projects, or simply relaxing.
- Networking and resource sharing with colleagues in ministry.f
About the Speaker:
Carol McDonald, an honorably retired PC(USA) minister, has served in congregations, presbyteries, synods, and the General Assembly. Named APCE Educator of the Year in 1999, she continues to inspire through her work in justice, inclusion, and Christian education.
