Shifts in virtual ministry and leading congregations during divided times are the focus of two separate classes available through the Synod of the Covenant at no cost to all teaching and ruling elders.

It’s Not Just Sundays – Sept 15 @ 6:30pm-8:30pm

Participants in “It’s Not Just Sundays” will explore major shifts in the ministry landscape as the church found virtual ministry during the pandemic to be a vital way to connect with congregants and new participants.

Participants also may opt to participate in a pre-seminar session from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2022 for technological novices and a post-seminar session from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 to explore measuring success in a hybrid ministry model and what new skills may be required.

Leading in Divided Times – Oct 25-26, 2022 @ 10am-12pm

Participants in “Leading in Divided Times” will explore how to lead during divided times while building unity and equipping congregation members to also build unity. The class will combine presentations with poll questions and breakout room discussions.
