The Presbytery of Lake Michigan mandates boundary training for all teaching elders active in the presbytery’s ministries. This includes teaching elders who are honorably retired, members at large, commissioned ruling elders and Christian educators.
The next class will be offered Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 321 West South Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
There is no cost to attend and lunch will be provided BUT online registration must be completed by Thursday, September 12, 2019.
- Completion of this course led by Rev. Fran Lane-Lawrence, Stated Clerk Transitional Co-Leader of the Presbytery of Lake Michigan, satisfies the Boundary and Misconduct training requirement.
- The course is open to those in the Presbytery of Lake Michigan and the Presbytery of Lake Huron.
